How we collect and use personal data on this website and in the Cuedini application.

Cuedini
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026 | Version 1.1

This Privacy Policy explains how Cuedini Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit https://cuedini.app, submit a form on our website, purchase a licence, or use the Cuedini desktop application (the "Software"). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions at https://cuedini.app/terms.html.

1. Who we are
Cuedini Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Privacy and support contact: Support@cuedini-app.com

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For any privacy request, use the email address above.

2. What we collect

2.1 Website visits
When you visit our website, our host (Netlify) records technical logs that typically include IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested. Form submissions are also stored by Netlify and may include the same kind of technical metadata. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar marketing trackers on this site.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and browser details when those fonts are requested. Google's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

We load Lemon Squeezy's checkout script on the marketing homepage so Early Access checkout can open if you use it. Lemon Squeezy may set cookies or process technical data when that script runs, even if you do not complete a purchase. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

2.2 Waitlist
If you join the waitlist we collect your email address so we can tell you about launch, updates, and early access.

2.3 Questions
If you send a question we collect your message. Unless you choose to submit anonymously, we also collect your name and email so we can reply. If you tick the box allowing us to use your question on social media, we may quote or paraphrase that question (without your email address) on our Instagram account.

2.4 Early Access members
If you unlock the Early Access checkout page with a password we have given you, we collect the email address you enter so we know who has unlocked that page. The password is checked in your browser and is not sent to our servers. Your browser may also store a simple local flag that you have already unlocked it. That flag is not your email address.

2.5 Early Access applications
If you apply via our Early Access application form we collect your name, email, occupation, and any optional details you provide about upcoming shows, artists you work with, and tools you currently use.

2.6 Other application forms
Our host is also set up to receive a beta application form covering name, email, role, industry, company, and why you are applying. If you submit that form, we use the details to consider your application and to contact you.

2.7 Payments
Paid licences and Early Access trials are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects the payment details needed to take payment, including card or other payment information. Cuedini Ltd does not see or store your full card number. We may receive your name, email, and order or licence details from Lemon Squeezy so we can issue a licence and support you.

2.8 The Cuedini application
Unless you turn on Cloud Storage (see 2.9), show files, media, and project data you create or import stay on your computer. We do not collect those files through this website.

The Software may send optional anonymised diagnostic or usage information to help us fix bugs and improve the product. You can opt out in the application settings. That diagnostic data is not used to identify you personally.

If you contact support from the application, we will process whatever you send us.

2.9 Cloud Storage
If you use Cloud Storage in the Software, we host the show data you choose to sync so other members of that show can stay connected across machines. That can include show files, cue lists, tracks and media you upload, operator display names, and membership for that show. If you put names or other personal details into a show file, those details are stored with it.

We store this on cloud infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. Other people you add to a show can see the shared show data. We use it to provide the sync service, not for advertising.

Live session codes used to sync operators on a local network are not uploaded to our Cloud Storage.

You can stop using Cloud Storage in the Software. To delete a synced show from our servers, email Support@cuedini-app.com.

2.10 Honeypot fields
Some forms include a hidden "bot-field" used only to reject automated spam. Humans should leave it blank. We do not use it as a record about you.

3. Why we use this data
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we rely on the following grounds as applicable:

  • Consent — when you submit a form, join the waitlist, or tick the social-media box.
  • Contract — to take payment, grant a licence, provide the Software you have purchased or subscribed to, and provide Cloud Storage if you use it.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the website, reply to questions, consider applications, keep licence records, and (where you have not opted out) receive anonymised diagnostics.
  • Legal obligation — where we must keep records for tax, accounting, or similar duties.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data.

We use service providers who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers of their own services:

  • Netlify — website hosting and form submissions
  • Lemon Squeezy — payments and checkout
  • Cloudflare — Cloud Storage for synced shows
  • Google — font delivery on the website
  • Our email provider — messages sent to Support@cuedini-app.com

People at Cuedini Ltd who need the data for support, sales, or operations may also see it.

We may disclose data if the law requires it or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

If you follow links to Instagram or other third-party sites, those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.

5. Where data is processed
Netlify, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, and Google may process data in the United States or other countries outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK's adequacy decisions or the standard contractual clauses used by those providers.

6. How long we keep it
  • Waitlist emails: until you ask us to remove you, or until we no longer need the list after launch.
  • Questions and applications: for as long as needed to reply and for a reasonable follow-up period, then we delete or anonymise them.
  • Payment and licence records: for as long as needed to honour your licence and to meet accounting and tax duties.
  • Cloud Storage show data: until you delete the show, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it to provide the service.
  • Server logs: according to our host's retention practices.
  • Optional diagnostics: for as long as useful for product improvement, in anonymised form.

You can email us to request deletion sooner, subject to any legal need to keep records.

7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, or portability, and you may withdraw consent where we rely on it.

Email Support@cuedini-app.com. We will respond within one month where the law requires.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk).

8. Cookies and local storage
We do not set our own advertising or analytics cookies.

Necessary cookies or local storage may be used:
  • by our host to operate the site and forms;
  • by Lemon Squeezy if their checkout script or checkout page runs;
  • on your device if you unlock Early Access (a local flag, not your email).

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop checkout from working.

9. Children
This website and the Software are aimed at professionals working in live events. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date and version at the top will change. Please check this page from time to time. Material changes will be posted here.
